My Mini Review:

I had heard some good things about this documentary, but was hesitant to watch it. I mean, how interesting can film be about a guy that makes sushi, right? Well, let me just say that Jiro is no ordinary sushi chef. For starters, he’s been a sushi chef for 75 years (for those good with math, yes that means from age 10!).

A simple man, with a simple plan – to love what you do, and do it everyday until death. That’s Jiro’s plan. The story of his life shows how one can overcome anything with discipline, self-sacrifice…
